Susan Malysa. Remember that name. The Boardman, Ohio woman was arrested Monday for felony child endangering after her eleven-year-old son was found duct-taped to a metal chair in her home's basement, his mouth also taped to prevent him from yelling for help.
Detective-Sergeant Chuck Hillan stated, "the child's legs were duct taped to the legs of the chair around his ankles, each leg, and then his hands were duct taped together in front of him, and then he had a piece of duct tape across his mouth."
Malysa, whose Facebook page describes her as the 'CEO of stay-at-home Mom'...was located by police at a local YMCA, where she had taken her daughter swimming, and arrested. Her son had been found by Malysa's mother, who had become concerned for his welfare. When police and paramedics examined the boy, evidence of bruising were found on his face and neck and he was taken to Akron Children's Hospital. He was later released to a family member.
Susan Malysa is now out of jail on bond and is awaiting trial.
